INFO: depending on the wattage of your soldering iron depends on how long you will have to hold the tip on the conection before the solder melts, for exsample a 10 to 20 watt soldering iron will take longer than say a 25 to 40 watt soldering iron. it doesent really matter weather you use lead or lead free solder but bear in mind that lead free has a higher tin content than leaded solder and contains more flux so its harder to melt also leaded solder is soter but lead free solder is more brittle than lede solder. WARNIGS: make shure you unplug the turntable before unscrewing or opening. be careful not to breake any of the thin wires from the tone arm as they are a very delicate.
