If you have a newer version of Windows, with Windows Movie Maker, and an audio dubbing cable, you have everything you need. This method also works with record players that have an earphone jack. Once the song is in MP3 format, it is easy enough to burn to cd, or download onto your ipod, or mp3 player. Windows Movie Maker is a free download and is in Service Pack 2.
