This is 1 of 147 very limited M-100's released in public. The "VTF-100" came with a few extra accessories that normal units will not receive: * V-MODA Faders () * Second pair of shields with a custom laser engraving () * Earpad colour of choice * Brand new boom microphone cable (unlisted price, maybe around ) So, my impressions as promised: After 144+ hours of pink noise "burn-in", not much has changed. The idea of "burn-in" is still a myth to me. Cons: - The earcups do not swivel (see 1st pro below) - Earpads might be too small for some people - Earpads tend to warm up - Cable microphonics (you can hear the cable noise if the cable brushes on your shirt) - Fabric cables tend to be stiff and are not as pliable as rubber-coated cables - For home listening the bass might be a bit too much - Midrange is slightly held back from the overall presentation (they're forward, but not in-your-face forward) - Initial drum and cymbal hits don't have very much impact (probably due to V-MODA decreasing some of the treble peaks that cause fatigue) - The cable entries on either earcup are deep and narrow, so some headphone cables won't fit - All metal parts are prone to fingerprints, but they are not nearly as obvious to see as on glossy plastic and are easy ...
