This is a quick set-up/ settings video for the Elgato Game Capture HD for a PS3 and any type of headset that uses an optical input. This will save a bunch of system memory If you don't want to record footage but still want to play a game you can simply plug the USB into your PS3 instead of a computer so that the device can pass the video through --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things That may be unclear: 1) The Component/ D-Terminal is connected to the Capture Device 2) For the audio settings I choose optical digital because the optical cable goes straight into my mix amp for my Trittons 3) Set up your primary audio out first because all other audio being output will be in a 2 channel format (This sounds bad if you have a surround sound headset) 4) Under accessory settings, regardless of where the output is going you will still be able to hear it through your headset ...
